Welcome
to ringdesnibelungen.com
The principal ambition of this site is to spread and make accessible
the Wagnerian tetralogy “The Ring of the Nibelung”
to all those interested in the work. In addition, we want to
awaken an increasing interest in the classical music.
Our plan is to use the different possibilities of the digital
technology to recreate, faithful to Richard Wagner's
ideas, an animation of the whole history of “The Ring
of the Nibelung”. This will be the longest animation
in the history of Internet. The work begins from January 2004.
Whenever a scene has been concluded, you will be able to see
it. Periodically, we will also present articles that will divulge
different aspects of the work, aspects that we have divided
in musical and not musical.
To make this project a reality we combine our knowledge as admirers
of Richard Wagner’s work. Each one of us contributes not
only with knowledge of the work in question, but also we have
different knowledge at technical, creative, artistic and informative
level. |
